These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CureTicket's websites, mobile applications, and related services (the "Service"). "CureTicket," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the CureTicket entity identified on our Contact page. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1) Eligibility; Accounts; Verification
The Service is intended for licensed healthcare professionals, licensed pharmacies/pharmacists, and medical-product companies/organizations (each a "User"). We may request verification information (for example licenses and supporting documents). Verification is not a guarantee, and we are not liable if any User misrepresents identity or provides false/forged documents.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or suspected compromise.
2) The Service Is a Tool (Not Medical Care; Not an E-Pharmacy)
The Service is a digital documentation tool for editing and organizing prescriptions and a communication tool for transmitting prescription content to intended recipients. CureTicket:
- does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or clinical decision support
- does not influence or determine what is prescribed, any diagnosis, or any clinical decision
- is not a party to any doctor-patient relationship, pharmacy-patient relationship, or any other clinical relationship
Not an e-pharmacy: CureTicket does not sell, dispense, distribute, deliver, or offer medications for sale, and does not operate as a pharmacy or marketplace for medicines.
No interest in what is prescribed: CureTicket does not receive commissions, kickbacks, or other benefits based on any specific medicine, brand, or prescribing/dispensing behavior, and does not influence prescribing decisions.
Prescriber responsibility: The doctor/prescriber is solely responsible for every element of any prescription (printed or digital), including accuracy, completeness, clinical appropriateness, and compliance with all applicable laws and professional obligations.
3) Prescription Integrity (No Edits After Issuance)
Once a prescription is issued/sent, it cannot be edited through the Service. If changes are needed, the prescriber must issue a new prescription and take appropriate actions, including contacting the patient and/or pharmacist where required.
For clarity: this restriction applies to changing the originally issued prescription content. It does not prevent pharmacies from recording dispensing, substitution, or fulfillment information where permitted by law and professional standards.
4) Patient Data Minimization; Interoperability Fields; Output-Only Name
Stored by CureTicket: We do not store patient national IDs or full dates of birth. We store only the clinic's patient reference number (clinic card number) plus gender and year of birth (not full DOB), to support interoperability and potential future portability.
Patient name (output only; not stored server-side): A prescriber may optionally enter a patient name for output purposes only. The patient name is not stored by CureTicket servers or databases. Where enabled, the name may be embedded in printable and/or QR outputs transmitted to intended recipients. Where enabled, encryption of such outputs may be performed on-device using a client-side randomly generated PIN (only the user browser / UI is involved in handling the name).
User obligations: You agree not to enter national IDs or other prohibited identifiers into free-text fields. The clinic/doctor is responsible for protecting the mapping of patient reference numbers and any locally handled patient identity information.
5) Pharmacist Responsibilities
Pharmacists remain responsible for professional review and must highlight apparent risks within their knowledge, including contacting the prescriber when needed. Pharmacists are responsible for marking or flagging potentially unsafe prescriptions and communicating with the prescriber.
6) User-Submitted Product/Medication Requests
Users may request adding medical products/medications. We may approve or reject requests. Users remain fully responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and appropriateness of submitted information.
7) Aggregated Insights (No Individual Processing/Profiling)
We may generate aggregated, non-identifying insights (for example broad trends by geography/category) only when there is sufficient volume to avoid singling out any specific doctor, clinic, or pharmacy. We do not provide analytics stating that a particular doctor or pharmacy prescribed/dispensed specific amounts of any item, and we do not provide individualized profiling.
Any insights/analytics are provided for informational purposes only, may be incomplete, and are provided as-is without warranties.
8) Security; Third-Party Services
We implement commercially reasonable security measures using widely available industry practices. However, no system is perfectly secure. The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and services (for example hosting, authentication, content delivery, security tooling), and CureTicket is not responsible for vulnerabilities, outages, or defects originating from third parties or from your device/OS.
9) Signatures, Stamps, and Legal Formalities
Digital prescription views/messages are not a substitute for wet signature/stamp where required. If signature/stamp is needed, the prescriber must print and sign/stamp. CureTicket is not responsible for dispensing performed without required signature/stamp or any party's failure to follow legal formalities.
10) Compliance, Fees, and Regulatory Reporting
Users are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional obligations, including any fees/stamps/taxes/reporting duties. CureTicket does not monitor, file, or report on Users' medical or pharmacy practice obligations.
If any part of the Service is offered for a fee, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes and comply with applicable payment terms presented to you. We may suspend or limit access for non-payment and may pursue collection of overdue amounts and related costs to the extent permitted by law.
11) Unsafe Functionality Reporting; Operational Responsibilities
You must promptly report any critical, unsafe, or security-related functionality discovered in the Service. CureTicket may place prominent warnings in the interface where relevant until issues are addressed.
Doctor revocation duty: The prescriber is responsible for revoking/replacing a prescription and contacting the patient when needed.
Pharmacist escalation duty: The pharmacist is responsible for marking unsafe prescriptions and contacting the prescriber.
12) Patient Mobile App (Patients Only) — Additional Terms
These terms apply to the patient mobile application (the "Patient App") in addition to the rest of these Terms:
- No patient registration required: The Patient App may be used without creating a user account.
- Device authentication: The Patient App may require use of your device lock (PIN/passcode) and/or biometrics to restrict access. CureTicket does not receive, store, or process your biometrics; device authentication is performed by your operating system.
- Camera permission: The Patient App requests camera access solely to scan prescription QR codes and authorization QR codes. CureTicket does not require you to capture or upload photos/videos to use the Patient App.
- Local encrypted storage: Prescription data (including patient name for display) may be stored encrypted locally on your device. If you uninstall the Patient App, this locally stored data may be deleted by the operating system, and CureTicket is not responsible for recovering it.
- Sharing by patient choice: If you generate and display authorization codes/QRs to allow a pharmacy to retrieve or refresh prescription information, you are responsible for who you share them with and any resulting disclosure.
- No clinical responsibility: The Patient App does not provide medical advice and does not replace professional medical or pharmacy judgment.
13) Acceptable Use; Enforcement; Right to Sue Abusers
You must not misuse the Service. Misuse includes, without limitation: impersonation or false credentials; unauthorized access attempts; security probing; malware; scraping/harvesting; attempts to re-identify individuals from aggregated outputs; spamming/harassment; unlawful use; or violations of these Terms.
CureTicket may investigate suspected misuse, preserve information, and disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights/safety. CureTicket may take any action it deems appropriate, including warnings, feature restrictions, suspension/termination, and cooperation with authorities. CureTicket reserves the right to pursue all available legal and equitable remedies against abusers, including civil claims for damages and injunctive relief.
14) Suspension/Termination
We may suspend or terminate any account or access at any time, with or without notice, and without stating a reason, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
15) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE (INCLUDING ANY OUTPUTS, MESSAGES, AND INSIGHTS/ANALYTICS) IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.
16) Limitation of Liability (1-Month Fee Cap)
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
(A) No indirect damages. IN NO EVENT WILL CURETICKET BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, ANY OUTPUTS, OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
(B) Maximum aggregate liability (tight cap). CURETICKET'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, ANY OUTPUTS, OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO CURETICKET FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE ONE (1) MONTH IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. IF YOU PAID NO FEES DURING THAT PERIOD, CURETICKET'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL BE EGP 0.
(C) Basis of the bargain. These limitations are an essential basis of the agreement.
(D) Mandatory carve-out. Nothing in these Terms limits liability to the extent it cannot be limited under applicable law.
17) Time Limit to Bring Claims (12 Months)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, any claim or action arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms must be brought within twelve (12) months after the events giving rise to the claim occurred; otherwise, it is permanently barred.
18) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold CureTicket harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, including prescription content, dispensing decisions, regulatory non-compliance, user-submitted listings, and any harm related to clinical/pharmacy decisions.
19) Electronic Notices and Communications
You consent to receive communications, disclosures, and notices from CureTicket electronically, including via the Service (for example in-app notifications, banners), by messages to the phone number associated with your account, by email to the email address associated with your account (if provided), and/or other electronic means. Notices are deemed delivered when sent, posted, or made available through the Service, as applicable. You are responsible for keeping your account contact details current and for checking the Service for notices.
20) Governing Law; Jurisdiction; Cross-Border Enforcement
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the CureTicket contracting entity is established, subject to mandatory applicable law.
General forum: Except as stated below, disputes shall be brought before the competent specialized courts in the country where the User primarily practices or operates.
CureTicket enforcement option: Notwithstanding the foregoing, CureTicket may bring claims relating to non-payment, collection, misuse, fraud, security incidents, IP infringement, or injunctive relief against any User acting for business/commercial purposes, and against vendors/partners/service providers, in any court of competent jurisdiction in any country where such party is incorporated, operates, or has assets, and may seek interim or injunctive relief in any jurisdiction as needed.
